He planned to finish arranging some orders with his stockist. After that, he went through a few tasks with the manager, and then he left. It was about to get crazy since his buddy Dwayne from college was on his way. Martin and Dwayne met a long time ago when they were both freshmen in college. They came from the same city, but had attended different schools. Their passion for sports was a big contributor to their lasting friendship. Well, now Martin runs a successful business and Dwayne is a diplomat. He was in the country for a month, and they planned for him to stay at Martin’s place for two days. It’s why Martin wanted to leave work early, and go home to wait for the HVAC expert. He’d been having some issue with his heating and air conditioning system, hence the need to contact the local HVAC company. Martin explained his air conditioner wasn’t working, and he wasn’t sure why this was happening. The HVAC expert arrived at the agreed time, and began an inspection of the cooling unit. His diagnosis was Martin needed a new thermostat since the one he had was shot. Martin thought about it for a moment and informed the HVAC expert to go ahead and install a smart thermostat in his lake house. He’d been thinking about smart thermostats for some time, and this was his chance to enter the new age. Once it was set up, he’d control the settings using his smartphone or tablet.
