Anyway, two days ago I called a long lost friend and told him I just heard a song that reminded me of him.
The song was from 1995 when we played ball in Cali and I hadn’t heard it in a long time so I pulled it up on Spotify. My buddy told me the next day that on the way home from work he heard the same song, which he hadn’t heard in 20 years, which is just amazing how it happens over and over. HVAC cleaning is what I do each week, and I haven’t thought about Jay in a long time, so when I thought of that song I decided to call him. But how on earth did that same song play later that evening in his car on his 30 minute ride home? The local business plays music all the time and in 30 minutes they can only play about seven songs, so that means that my song was one of the seven that my HVAC tech buddy heard that night on the way home from work. I’m living overseas and he is in the States and there is no way my Spotify track I played was connected in any way to his radio in his car playing the same song. How is that possible? Doing heat pump repairs gives me lots of time to think about it and how strange synchronicity can be in life. There must be more to life than what we are seeing.
