Five more stories to write and then I’m almost done for the day. I suppose I’m going to attend a bonfire with my friend Val later. We will play some music and sing while seeing a fire on the beach. It should be enjoyable and I will bring my djembe drum and jam with my bandmate a bit while we all chill around the fire. I’m hoping that Val can come with me, however I first need to wait for her text to see if she is able to go tonight. We will have heating from the fire, as it gets honestly freezing in the evening when the sun sets, so keeping it warm is a must and a fireplace is a good way to do that. I like Val because she is kind of quiet and doesn’t talk all of the time, which is lovely for someone like me who gets anxious when someone talks nonstop. We met a while back when I installed an HVAC system in her beach house, however I never got her number so I’m asking my buddy to have her contact me. He liked her too, however she wasn’t into him so maybe he won’t want to be the middleman in this and will tell me he can’t help me. He and I work at the HVAC corp and I hope that he doesn’t get strange about me wanting to get her number from him. If not, then I’m sure I’ll see her and get it from her if all goes well.
