I’m beginning my new rule tonight of no laptop or phone after 10pm because I honestly didn’t sleep well last night after being online watching videos until 12am.
I know better than to do this, but I didn’t think it would affect me in such a manner. So, starting tonight, I won’t have my laptop on after sunset. I don’t like when I do this because it is being selfish to me. Now, I must go through the whole day half asleep. Oh well, I just need to grin and bear it like the other nights when temperature control wasn’t toiling and I didn’t sleep. I could drink more coffee, however that will just give me the jitters. Today, I will try to remain calm and I will make it through the day just fine. Working later at the HVAC business will wake me up when dealing with clients and phone calls, so I don’t have to try and drink more coffee because that will be even better. I’ll also go for a run soon and eat a pear, which seems to wake me up with the natural sugar in it. My HVAC customer told me about how pears are better at waking you up than coffee, while I was working one day on a HVAC system in her lake house. I will take a freezing swim soon too and that usually snaps me out of feeling dopey very swiftly. Today is Monday and we will play music later in the streets so I must be awake by then.
