It’s peculiar how sporadically when you just sort of deliver up, things tend to labor out… When I say deliver up, I mean just apply some acceptance and let go of worry when it comes to taxing challenges… And being able to have our own heating and A/C equipment in our own house was a crucial challenge… Yet, that’s exactly what I did when it came to feeling love.
I was just banging our head on the wall when it came to saving for a downpayment! I’m not married and have lived in another home with outdated heating and A/C equipment for the better part of the decade, but all that changed just last month as we moved into our newly renovated house. I say we because I joined forces with some other friends to purchase a several story home that we own together. I was sick of the bad quality heating and air in our home and not being able to build any equity… The more I saved for a down payment, the further away the prices got, but so once we spoke to a lawyer and understood how we could all protect our interests, it seemed similar to a no brainer. The fact that we found this house right away right in our price range, appeared to be a good crucial orange light from the universe. When it came to renovations on the house we decided against central a/c. The duct labor in the house was shot and so that was cost prohibitive to upgrade. Instead, we have ductless heat pumps on each floor which also allows us individual thermostat control. It’s definitely working out entirely too good and I’m so thankful for this sort of heating and A/C technology.
