Retiring to awesome HVAC comfort

Retiring to awesome HVAC comfort

It’s even better than I thought it could be.

And having nearly a ten year headstart on my retirement is just the cherry on the cake.

That’s right, I was able to leave the commercial HVAC of my office 8 years early after taking a buyout. Not only did I get 8 more years of retirement but I lost less than 3 percent of my retirement had I stayed til 67. It was just too awesome a deal to pass up. My wife is from the south so it had always been the plan to trade tough winters for hot summers. And that also meant trading a gas furnace for a heat pump. I honestly had no conception of just how wonderful it is here during the winter. We had visited a few times and I can remember wishing I could stay instead of going back to the cold and all that gas furnace heating. But living here is a whole different ball game. I love the fact that I’m outside everyday during the winter. I can play golf or tennis or do whatever I want because it’s so beautiful here during the winter. And the heat pump hardly runs because we don’t need much in the way of heating around here. Of course, that all changes in a few months. Once we get into March, the temperatures begin to rise and you hear the heat pumps in our neighborhood perk up. There’s no way you can get through the type of heat and humidity we have for four months straight without great residential HVAC. I’m so glad that we were able to score the latest in residential HVAC that comes with some of the most excellent HVAC technology.
