I’m just amazed that my wife and I are getting into crafting.

This is not something I have ever had on my radar.

I have always been the sort who enjoys athletic pursuits outside of the air conditioning of my house along with plenty of sports. But I’ve also been a dad and a partner now for a long time and that tends to have a big impact. That’s particularly true when the central air conditioning of your home is full of ladies. I’m the only guy in a house full of girls and so perhaps maybe that’s why I have found this calling for crafting as I ease into my mid fifties. The funny thing is, I’m not even embarrassed about it. I love going into the commercial HVAC of the crafting store with my wife to hunt for treasures as we create these interesting decorations and furnishings. But we’ve gotten so into it that we had to do something different because we were taking up all the spare space inside our home. So we ended up ordering a storage shed that had some windows and plenty of space. We put that thing in the backyard and had it wired for electricity. The shed comes complete with a floor and windows and even a tiny little front porch. Once we had the shed wired, we called the HVAC company to come in and install a ductless heat pump so we had some quality heating and air going on as well. This setup has worked out just perfectly for our purposes. We have room to move around and a place for our tools and equipment that is also air conditioned.
