I always wanted to be a HVAC tech

So that is the path I took, and while I am cheerful that I am successful, I feel like I am only now rediscovering and fulfilling my childhood dream

I absolutely like what I do, as a matter of fact I feel like I have finally found my passion in life. It sounds simple, and maybe it is, but I like repairing and fixing up outdated heating and cooling units. When I was a kid, I had wanted to be a heating and cooling system professional just like my dad. I thought repairing and restoring things was such a cool thing to do and it particularly offered me a sense of accomplishment when I could take something that was otherwise dead and broken and restore it to like new again, but that wasn’t even the best part, but the best part was seeing these restored heating and cooling system units go to other people that were able to make good use of them. Even though I had wanted to be a heating and cooling system professional my mother didn’t approve of this job choice and put tremendous pressure on me to become a lawyer instead. She seemed more concerned with my long term success rather than my happiness. So that is the path I took, and while I am cheerful that I am successful, I feel like I am only now rediscovering and fulfilling my childhood dream. Working on all of these heating and cooling units has made my mom proud, and made me feel a bit more complete. I’m even considering going back to school to get my HVAC certification and finally achieving my dreams, but for now I will continue to work on ductless mini split air conditioners and heating systems on the side.
