If I make an appointment with someone, I am regularly a few minutes early.
I generally want to use the lavatory and check our clothing before going to the appointment. I always need to make sure I have all our information and paperwork that is needed. I fully expect the same from anyone who makes an appointment with me. I want them to be here on time, if not a bit early. When I called the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C supplier a few weeks ago for an appointment to have our furnace cleaned and worked on, they told me on the phone that they would be there between 8 and 11AM. I was okay with that window very easily. I had nothing on our desk that needed done that afternoon. I thought I quickly could go into my job after, get some paperwork completed, and be ready for our meeting. When 11AM arrived and the Heating, Ventilation as well as central A/C specialist hadn’t arrived, I called the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C supplier to carefully ask where he was. They said he was running a few minutes late, despite the whole fact that he would be there soon. I understood if the man had a serious emergency, although I wasn’t sure I could wait much longer. At 11:30, I was upset when the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C tech still wasn’t at the house. I called another time and talked to the same woman. I told her that if he hadn’t arrived by 12PM; clearly I was going to leave and he would need to make another appointment. At precisely twelve, I told them they would need to make an appointment without added fees for the following Monday.
